We take to the sea with big waves, wind 5-6 Bft, from the north of course. We want to make the last (for this season) try to sail north. We cannot stay in Stocka, as the Cats do not cope with the parking full of dogs and loud people.
The waves are big and uncomfortable for the Cats. We put life jackets for the first time on, both Humans and Cats. We make only 10 nautical miles in 3 hours today and arrive at Mellanfjärden. We eat breakfast only there, and then the Cats go onshore. There are less people here, and a camping is on the other side of the harbor. There are just some people walking at the quay.
On Monday morning, the Cats do not come for breakfast. We do some work at the boat. The weather turns to summer, 29 Celsius, we take a bath in the bay. We spend the evening with the sailors from the neighbor boat.
We decide not to sail on north in this season. Sundsvall – the beginning of the High Coast – is located one good sailing day north of us now, but the forecast does not show a good sailing in the next days. We need to leave the boat for several weeks between my vacations – Hudiksval looks like a good choice for this.
