A certain amount of official holidays allowed me to take quite some days off. We decided to follow up upon the last year’s experiences and try sailing north again. We used these days off to move the boat to a marina north of Stockholm. We had enough time to do it in a slow way, sailing from island to island, taking advantage of our increased autonomy due to the new toilet and the solar panel.
The Cats were not very happy about sailing, but they were not stressed by it, like the previous year. Probably they thought “Oh, sailing again… But we’ll survive”. Whenever we arrived at a shore at the end of a sailing day, the Cats would go on shore and inspect their new area. Micke would usually come back to the boat for the night and would go our bunk purring “I would rather be home than here but I love you”. In the morning, Kajjan would come to the boat for a breakfast and then we would sail away, the Cats would lay down on their chosen places and they would wait patiently till we reach a shore again.
After this short trip, we returned with Cats home. I would however live onboard quite a few days, using the city’s transportation to commute more easily to the office.
